The key objective at Selvern trust is to support the talented rural and urban poor men and women in Sri Lanka that are seeking to realise their dreams and aspirations. We do this through:

* Other resources needed to be successful in a career.
* English language support.
* Information and awareness of their human rights.
Vijendran is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of BoardPAC. The company provides a secure digital platform for conducting Board Meetings and is present in Sri Lanka, India, South Africa, and Malaysia. He is also the Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Headstart, a fully-owned subsidiary of Dialog. Headstart and Guru TV provide a digital learning management system for companies.
Vijendran has over 25 years of experience as a CXO-level leader in start-ups and fast-growth companies. He has lived and worked globally in Australia, UK, Africa, Middle East, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Myanmar, and other countries in Asia giving him exposure to different working and management cultures and experiences.
Vijendran is passionate about developing talented young people and has done so in all of the countries he has worked in. Through the Selvern Trust, he hopes to create new and innovative ways of bringing these objectives to life.
He was the founding Managing Director of Mobitel in Sri Lanka. This was Telstra’s first mobile operations outside of Australia. He has over 43 years of experience in the ICT industry and recently retired as the Chief Regional Officer (CRO) of EDOTCO Group. As a founding member of EDOTCO, the infrastructure company of the Axiata Group, Vijendran helped build the company from scratch to a Unicorn. EDOTCO is now present in eight countries and owning and managing over 30,000 mobile communication towers. As CRO Bay of Bengal, he was responsible for and a Board Director of the companies in Myanmar, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. As a further attestation to his global expertise in the corporate world, he is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Master Performance Certified Coach, and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
